Not appropriate for children or adolescents. First, let me relate that the book ART FANTASTIX 6 - THE ART OF JOHN BOLTON is the same book, but released in Europe. There are 91 pages, out of 96, that feature large reproductions of his work. Though there are no captions to speak of, it's obvious the book gathers together paintings from a large group of very different projects. A handful of works are exquisitely rendered drawings that formed the basis of a few of the paintings also found here. Unfortunately, eight of the good pages are used to display four double-page-spreads and none of them negotiate the central gutter satisfactorily. The works are not captioned where they appear, but there is a one-page index at the end with the titles, creation-year and size (in metric). A significant portion of the displays focus on vampire women, many of them appearing practically feral when 'spotted', but there are also exhibits of temptresses, demons, devilettes, other strange creatures, eygptian-ism, whimsical grotesques, surrealism, science-fiction, and fantasy action & portraits. There's plenty of nudity, but one or two images do suggest adult themes enough to keep it put away from the minors.
