The Art Of Mitch Byrd Not appropriate for children or adolescents. This book was entitled 'vol. 1', but no other volumes have followed from SQP. For this site, the book would have fallen higher in the recommendations if it wasn't for the ten pages of sequential art crammed in here. Also note that in displaying pieces that were particularly tall or long, the leftover negative space was filled with more images, which is 'o.k.' by our lights, but does give the book a bit of a crowded aspect. So, these 64 pages, along with the painted front & back covers, gives you 53 large reproductions and a couple more pages with gathered smaller images. As long as you don't mind nudity, there's a lot of good stuff here as Byrd's full-figured women flit through spaceships, jungles & ruins in underwater, fantasy, futuristic & barbarian lands. Byrd's art is not limited to adventure pin-up, as there are also plenty of straight illustration images throughout. A few images do cross the line into adult themes, so it shouldn't be left lying about the house if young ones are about. other SQP monographs The Pin-Up Art Of Archie Dickens vols.1 & 2 Girls On Top ! - The Pin-up Art Of Matt Dixon Barry Blair & Colin Walbridge: Nymphettes Sorceress - The Mike Hoffman Sketchbook (vol.1) Inferno - The Art Of Tomas Giorello The Beast Within - The Art Of Ken Barr Nik Guerra: Undressed - A Gallery Of Fetishwear The Art Of Gennadiy Koufay - Heatwave The Pin-Up Art Of Jay Scott Pike Tommy Castillo: Dragons, Myths & Mayhem The Savage Art Of Bob Larkin vol.1 Xotica - The Art Of Esteban Maroto Fatal Beauty - The Boada Sketchbook The Art Of Monte M.
