The Art Of Maxx Marshall A 64-page collection of Maxx Marshall's black-&-white drawings with some colored versions on the front and back covers. The description "chockfull" comes immediately to mind, as while roughly half of the pages show a single well-presented image, another quarter of them take the leftover space from a particularly long or wide depiction and fill it with more of his drawings. And the last quarter are pages of multiple combinations of his images, fit as best they can in the available space. The works are not captioned, but some of them are accompanied with small encapsulated comments or anecdotes from the artist himself. Marshall's style roams from comical to dramatic, but he consistently employs clean & clear linework, using their weight to communicate any amount of detail or decided solidity. Gathered here are punks, geishas, fairies, samurai, zombies, monsters and masked wrestlers. His female characters predominate, but they are rarely caught in repose - most being warriors, whether savage or modern. Some are provocatively costumed and there is a bit of nudity, but nothing that strays into adult themes. other SQP monographs The Pin-Up Art Of Archie Dickens vols.1 & 2 Girls On Top ! - The Pin-up Art Of Matt Dixon Barry Blair & Colin Walbridge: Nymphettes Sorceress - The Mike Hoffman Sketchbook (vol.1) Inferno - The Art Of Tomas Giorello The Beast Within - The Art Of Ken Barr Nik Guerra: Undressed - A Gallery Of Fetishwear The Art Of Gennadiy Koufay - Heatwave The Pin-Up Art Of Jay Scott Pike Tommy Castillo: Dragons, Myths & Mayhem The Savage Art Of Bob Larkin vol.1 Xotica - The Art Of Esteban Maroto Fatal Beauty - The Boada Sketchbook The Art Of Monte M.
