The Art Of Gennadiy Koufay - Heatwave

(full cover withheld) This a 48-page book with 44 art pages. A few of the pages each sport two longer-than-tall images, but all the rest each reserve the whole page for one. There are a couple of double-page spreads, both of which let spine distortedly cut the lovely lass in half. 13-or-so are greytone watercolors from his "Beach" series (they are identified on the caption page). The rest are all full-color, usually presented as full-bleed or in the fashion of the subject being isolated on a white background. A handful of the images feature their inspiration by Bettie Page. On the single page of captions, the titles of the pieces are given, along with the creation year, size, medium and sometimes the models' names. The one text page presents a short biography in both English & German. There is no adult-theme explicitness at play here, but there's so much 'come-hither' action going on, that I kept the book put away from children.
