Counting both the front and back covers (and those inside covers), this book totals 76 pages, which is just a bit thicker than most of their volumes. This one though, also eschews captions and text to just present the art. It is predominantly black-and-white with only a small color section. It attempts a handful of double-page spreads, most of which do not use the book's gutter satisfactorily. Many of the subjects are barbarian fighters, of both genders, with partial nudity. There are also a number of historical period depictions. The presented art seems to be a balance of drawings which are meant to be an end in themselves and those on which he seems to have then based the paintings he created for his movie posters and book & magazine covers.
