Some editions are subtitled 'The Tommy Castillo Sketchbook' and others carry a 'vol.1' marker (but no other volumes have been released in the years since). A singular release from SQP - seemingly a labor-of-love project by the artist, who expresses that he has an inordinate fondness for all the ancient myths and draws on them heavily for 56 full-page fantasy drawings (and a cover painting) along with eight more pages of multiple images presented in 'sketchbook' style. The classic celebrities found here are Alice, Dorothy, Red Riding Hood, Lilith, Jenny Greenteeth, Medusa, Hecate, Tin Man, Thor, Hades, Icarus, Perseus, Orpheus, Theseus, The Minotaur, and Bigfoot. They and other mythical themes are presented in the idiosyncratic snapshots of Castillo's imagination, all with short anecdotal captions that capture that same style as in a narrative.
