The Art Of Walter Girotto Note that ART FANTASTIX 9 seems to be the same book. Not appropriate for children or adolescents. This is 94 pages of Walter Girotto's paintings and some additional text providing, in English and German, a short biography, as well as some poetic commentary about a few specific works and his artistry in general. There are also two pages detailing the captions for the pieces, namely, title, creation year, size and medium. The only mis-step here would seem to be the six double-page spreads, only half of which place their subject so as not to be disrupted by the book's gutter. Only a couple of the pieces could be said to be "simply" pin-ups. Yes, you would lose count of the male & female nudes inside, but most are buried in the allegorical trappings throughout, while styles vary from photo-realism to mingling with the Pre-Raphaelites. Some of the people are too ecstatic and a couple of the depictions slip out of the realm of suggestive into that of adult themes, so the collection needs to be put away from children. other SQP monographs The Pin-Up Art Of Archie Dickens vols.1 & 2 Girls On Top ! - The Pin-up Art Of Matt Dixon Barry Blair & Colin Walbridge: Nymphettes Sorceress - The Mike Hoffman Sketchbook (vol.1) Inferno - The Art Of Tomas Giorello The Beast Within - The Art Of Ken Barr Nik Guerra: Undressed - A Gallery Of Fetishwear The Art Of Gennadiy Koufay - Heatwave The Pin-Up Art Of Jay Scott Pike Tommy Castillo: Dragons, Myths & Mayhem The Savage Art Of Bob Larkin vol.1 Xotica - The Art Of Esteban Maroto Fatal Beauty - The Boada Sketchbook The Art Of Monte M.
