Offerings - The Art Of Brom (2001 - Paper Tiger)
Most of this book is a full-page reproduction of a painting matched with a facing page that has the title, creation year and a bit of some 'related' narrative - on that same page is then another, smaller reproduction of a different work captioned underneath with its own title and year. While there is the occasional glimpse of a 'celebrity' like Elric, Tarzan or Batman, most of the subjects are the fantastical citizens of Brom's unique country. Many of the artworks are portraits or character studies of these subjects, but there is a handful of more encompassing compositions, depicting more of a conflict situation between a scene's actors. There are only eight of the 128 pages found here that are not dominated by its art (some of those being a short biography & introduction, as well as a poetical musing) and 104 pages sport on each an uncrowded featured art piece.
