[-BELOW THE LINE-] (a reference book by Kevin J. Anderson & Daniel Wallace) While artist Bill Hughes contributed 43 large 'well-presented' illustrations (and another 45 spot portraits & vignettes), that's just not enough of this 207 page book that proceeds to lay out the timeline of the Star Wars galaxy, along with some short biographies and a map. With less than a quarter of the pages devoted to the art, it can't make it up onto The List. It should be said that the large drawings are enjoyable and display many important moments & battles in this "history". Do not confuse this book with the larger later edition, entitled THE NEW ESSENTIAL CHRONOLOGY TO STAR WARS, by one of our authors here, Daniel Wallace (which is reportedly illustrated in full-color paintings.)
