This is part of a nice set of paperback artbooks, longer than they are tall, roughly 9-by-11 inches, each 96 pages, presenting their color plates in 'museum' fashion, with the blank facing page holding a respectful caption of title, creation year, original size, and source collection. 46 color plates, counting also the back cover. Also a two-page introduction. Buskirk's book RUSSELL scores as a better collection of Charles M. Russell art, but this volume takes many of the double-page-spreads found there, including some of the unacceptable ones, and holds them to a single page to more satisfactory effect. One is going to want both volumes as each has a significant portion of works not held by the other.
