The Frazetta Treasury [BELOW THE LINE] It has the appearance & indicia of being self-published by Frank Frazetta, but was disavowed by him and labeled 'the most notorious bootleg publication'. It's 52 pages and staplebound. Front & back covers are reproductions of color paintings, but everything inside is black-&-white. You'll even find a number of black-&-white pictures of paintings, which is not something I care for. Without them being considered, that leaves only 13 full-page drawings on display. Among the rest of the materials are any number of fun smaller drawings. Those materials are a biography, an interview and a bibliography/publication-checklist. There's also a reprint of the western comic story "The Claws Of Death" and a page of Barnyard Comics' "Hucky Duck". The interview is considered bogus, or possibly cribbed from other known biographical features & quotes of the time. The checklist might be useful, but no information found there could be considered accurate unless double-checked - for instance, there is a presentation of a magazine cover captioned Frazetta's first published painting, but that proves to be false, and the cover shown to be a reprint of a previous cover by another artist.
