Dragontails vol.2 & 3 Volume 2 has everything going for it. One page, of 64, is lost to promoting their other books, but every other one is a well-presented drawing, including the inner liner and then there are the paintings on the front & back covers. No pages are wasted on a double-page spread or sideways-turned image. Nudity ? I begin to perceive that the dragons are wearing more clothes than the people. Seriously, lots of flesh on display here, but salaciousness didn't find much of a foothold. All the artists are: Sebastià Boada (3), Castro (2), Pedro Cuevas, Blas Gallego (3), Gerard Gallego (3), Tomas Giorello (8), Pepe Gonzalez (2), Josep Gual (2), Mike Hoffman (7), Rich Larson (6) (and one with Steve Fastner), Joseph Michael Linsner*, Llopis (3), Anibal Maraschi (3), Maren (3), J.L. Marin (3), Ruben Meriggi (3), Daniel Pascarelli (3), Joan Pelaez (3)*, Luciano Quintabani, Sanjulian (4) and Jose Torres (2). * - Note that the 'well-presented' pieces here by Pelaez, and Linsner, can all additionally be found so in their own collections on The List. Volume 3 is a 64-page collection of black-&-white pieces, with paintings on the front & back covers. All would be considered well-presented, if it weren't for the three that are turned sideways. Most works come across with the 'finished' look one would want, while the remaining pure pencil pieces are closer to that than in some other books. There's a great deal of nudity, but nothing graphic is going on (though some of these dragon consorts seem to be enjoying their positions quite a bit . . .). On the inside cover, the artists to be found within are listed, but nothing is captioned, so several of the pieces without signatures I wasn't good enough to identify. The artists are: Sebastià Boada (3), Mitch Byrd (5), Juan Cano (4), Alejandro Colucci, Pedro Cuevas (4), Isaac DelRivero (3), Enrich (3), Fico, Tomas Giorello (6), Javier Gracia (3), Danilo Guida, Brian LeBlanc (3), Anibal Maraschi (2), Ruben Meriggi (3), Joan Pelaez (6)***, Luciano Quintabani (2), J.L. Roger, James Ryman, Sanjulian (3), Arantza Sestoya (2), Emiliano Urdinola & UNKNOWN (6) *** - Note that in regards to the 'well-presented' pieces here by Pelaez, some, but not all, can additionally be found so in his own collection on The List.
