The Amazing World Of Carmine Infantino [-BELOW THE LINE-] (by Carmine Infantino with J. David Spurlock) Somebody took a wrong turn with this one. 78 text pages in this 176-page book, which mostly shares Infantino's own words about his fascinating career at any number of industry companies, either still here or gone-&-forgotten, working with almost every practitioner of comics' Silver Age. But those, combined with another 43 pages of photographs, sideways spreads, very rough sketchwork, black-&-white representations of color comic covers, or pencil layouts of his sequential art pages and you don't have enough pages left over to focus on clean reproductions of his image art. So you'll find here 26 art pages that gather together multiple images and 25 more that feature some single large reproduction. Five of those nearly full-page pieces are by other artists ! Namely, Neal Adams (2), C.C. Beck, Joe Kubert, and Joe Orlando. He was so productive that we could fill at least one large volume each of his covers or selected examples of his fine line work.
