Art Of Tommy Lee Edwards This artist, like many, has found expression in several disciplines. Here you will find examples of his comic book illustration, his gaming covers, and movie-studio promotions. This is a 96-page book with 72 art-pages, 52 of those each devoted to a large reproduction. 24 of those are set aside for displaying a dozen long double-page spreads and admirably only 3 let the gutter mar their presentation. The remaining pages are given over to examples of his sequential art and just a few for text (mostly comments from others). A not-insignificant amount of space is given over to his work related to MEN-IN-BLACK II and the STAR WARS universe, but you'll also find art of Star Trek, superheroes, aliens, sword-fighters and other combat. I think you'll find his loose illustration bold and expressive. That energy doesn't seem to get lost when he takes art pieces far further down that "finished" trail. Most of the pages contain captions describing the source of the work, but they don't seem to have been too particular about 'leaving no art unidentified', especially on pages that are jam-packed with collected comic panels. other IDW releases Roy G.
