The Norman Rockwell Treasury (Buechner) (by Thomas S. Buechner) I can't get beyond the fact that this 216-page collection has over 80 of them featuring black-&-white presentations of color art pieces. Needless to say, it would sit much higher on The List if that had been rectified in any of the several editions released after its 1970s origins. Anyway, you do get 91 color pages which feature a large reproduction and another 11 gathering two or more images. There are two double-foldouts and another nine double-page-spreads, most of which make acceptable use of the book's central gutter. So, recommended before this book are the titles NORMAN ROCKWELL (MONTGOMERY), THE BEST OF NORMAN ROCKWELL, 102 FAVORITE PAINTINGS, PICTURES FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, NORMAN ROCKWELL (MARLING-TASCHEN), A SIXTY YEAR RETROSPECTIVE, THE SATURDAY EVENING POST AND NORMAN ROCKWELL, NORMAN ROCKWELL'S WORLD OF SCOUTING and THE SATURDAY EVENING POST NORMAN ROCKWELL BOOK, but if you already have all of those, know that this volume will provide you with 15 more pieces that are 'well-presented' for the first time and two additional Saturday Evening Post covers that are presented without logos.
