Josh Howard: Mosh Girls & Monsters - The Art Of Josh Howard vol. 2 (2006 - Viper Comics)
Small and playful - a 7-by-7 inch book with 72 pages. 47 of those pages are each dedicated to a single piece presented well, with another six with a couple of images on them. Most of the other pages are lost to chapter headings and very-unfinished sketches. The four chapters are Mosh Girls, Mythic, Monsters and Martyrs. The monsters are greatly outnumbered by the girls, who, after the sassy modern-day pin-ups, are centauresses, mermaids, satyrs, goths, indian maids, spell-casters, rebels, boxers, demon-hunters, barbarian-warriors and soldiers. There is some nudity, all in the same near-cartoonish style. None of the works are captioned, but some are presented as movie-posters with all of the attendant typography.
