The Art Of Al Williamson
                                             (1983 - Blue Dolphin Enterprises)

[-BELOW THE LINE-]  (by James Van Hise)   This book celebrates Williamson's comic book artistry with a majority of it taken up with five complete stories and long runs of his two syndicated comic strips, Star Wars & Secret Agent Corrigan.  There are also more than 50 pages of text, interviews and a checklist, more than half of them having a small comic panel, spot drawing or sketch.  It doesn't make it up onto The List because with all that, it only has 15 pages with a 'well-presented' piece and another seven with multiple images together.  Those works are all captioned with a description of what they were for.  Though he worked in many genres, the lion's share of the images here are of his science-fiction and fantasy subjects.
