Let Them Eat Cheesecake - The Art Of Olivia
                                             (1993 - Ozone Productions)

The German Art Fantastix edition, while not sporting the exact same cover or title, is reportedly the same book.  The presentation of the works here is outstanding.  54 of the 92 art pages are full-bleeds or interestingly backgrounded.  Only three of the rest let multiple images share a page (well, at least not without a dominant one).  Most of the book's text pages close it, there being a page-index with the captioning, which includes the title, origination year, size, medium and usually the artist's anecdote about the piece.  Two pages are given to her essay called "Notes On Technique And The Creative Process" in addition to a page of her more personal thoughts and a Hugh Hefner foreward.  There's quite a bit of diversity as the nudes & lingerie models share space with fantastical creatures such as metallicoids, angels & tiger-women (not to mention Bettie Page . . .).  A heavy graphic-design sensibility is on display here along with a costume-design one.  I keep this book put away from children because 1 or 2 of the subjects cross the salacious-pose-line a bit too far to not err on the side of caution.
