Stephen E. Fabian Portfolios
[-ALL BELOW THE LINE-] Certainly not art-BOOKS by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems worthwhile to track how these artworks figure into the body of Fabian's canon being gathered into various collections. Conan - Queen Of The Black Coast (1976 - House Of Fantasy Bookstore) [-BELOW THE LINE-] In this case, it is important to know that all seven of this portfolio's black-&-white plates, and the 'cover', are reproduced in the book STEPHEN E. FABIAN'S LADIES & LEGENDS. I'm not yet sure where (or if) is reproduced the double-sized painting (the landing party from the ship) that appeared on the outside of the heavy folder that acted as the container.  Also note that there is an additional Fabian drawn illustration for this story (shipboard Conan & Belit facing a flying menace) that was not part of this portfolio. Conan - The Tower Of The Elephant (1977 - House Of Fantasy Bookstore) [-BELOW THE LINE-] In this case, it is important to know that six of this portfolio's black-&-white plates, and the 'cover', are reproduced in the book STEPHEN E. FABIAN'S LADIES & LEGENDS and a seventh plate can be found in WOMEN & WONDERS. I'm not yet sure where (or if) is reproduced the double-sized painting (Conan stealthily entering the Tower compound) that appeared on the outside of the heavy folder that acted as the container, nor the final drawn plate of the wizard shrinking). Fantastic Nudes (1976 - Gerry De La Ree) [-BELOW THE LINE-] In this case, it is important to know that all of the plates here can be found in FANTASY BY FABIAN. Fantastic Nudes 2nd Series (1976 - Gerry De La Ree) [-BELOW THE LINE-] In this case, it is important to know that all of the plates here can be found in FANTASY BY FABIAN Related Books Gerry De La Ree's Stephen E.
